Division 48: Peace Psychology at the APA Annual Convention

Join Division 48: Peace Psychology at the 122nd APA Annual Convention

August 7-10, 2014 in Washington.

Each year, The Society for the Study of Peace, Conflict & Violence: Peace Psychology meets as a division of the American Psychological Association (APA), and sponsors various programs and sessions of interest to our members at the APA Annual Convention. This is an opportunity for members to get acquainted with colleagues, learn about new directions in peace psychology, and plan future collaborations. Along with hosting official sessions during the convention, we also have a Hospitality Suite that hosts smaller sessions & conversations, workgroup meetings, and social hours.

This years’ topic, ‘Working for Justice and Building Peace,’ will be explored trough six symposia, two skill-building sessions, a paper session, and a poster session . In addition, all are welcome to attend the variety of conversation sessions, workshops, and informal meetings that will be held at the Hospitality Suite at the Marriott Marquis Washington DC Hotel (See Hospitality Suite Schedule).
